This penguin has a penchant for dancing. His stage name is Chilly Chap, and he stars as the first-ever Annual Penguin Ornament from Lenox. With webbed feet, Chilly Chap waddles his way into the spotlight this holiday season. And this chap is all charm, from top hat to tails. A red-and-white-striped candy cane completes his festive costume.
This fully sculpted ornament is crafted of ivory fine china and accented by hand with soft colors and 24 karat gold. An annual issue, the ornament is inscribed with the year "2001" in gold.
Chilly Chap is issued in limited edition with production ceasing December 25, 2001. Once the crafting deadline has been reached, the issue will be closed forever. Each ornament bears the prized Lenox hallmark in 24 karat gold and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. And each includes a gold tassel cord for hanging.
